  1. If money didn’t matter(free schooling,) what would you want to do for a career? I think I would just stay in school forever and learn as much as I could and then do whatever I liked the most

  • What do you dislike the most? When people put others down for doing something they want to do

Hi everyone, look at me posting two days in a row. I’m working on planning out some more posts for July (life and some Peru since I suck) and then some back to school posts in August. Once I start school, I’m not going to guarantee too  many posts (especially in September) with getting acclimated to a new place and homework and I’m not going to clack off like I somewhat did in San Diego, but I am going to try.

How I started blogging

I have been blogging since I was 14. I stumbled upon someone’s summer bucket list blog and I decided that I wanted to make one as well. So, that summer and the summer after, my friend Molly and I made a summer bucket list blog. We are no longer friends, however, I wanted to continue blogging so I have made a few blogs over my lifetime to continue blogging, mainly just random writings and a bit of food tracking. However, last October, I decided that I wanted to document my time in college so that’s how I started this blog 🙂

Advice

  1. Write about what you want- This one may seem pretty self-explanatory, however, it may not be. With so many lifestyle blogs about fashion and the latest hair hack, you may seem pressured to post about these. Yes, it may get you some traffic but if you don’t necessarily like what you’re posting… why blog? I will post a review here and there because I want to and I think other people might want to see it. I post things for me, because I like them, not to get a certain amount of views in a day and I recommend you all do the same.
  2. Don’t stress- I’m all about trying to be consistent, it’s what readers like and it gets views. However, if I’m sick or had a long day or was out with friends, I’m not going to worry about my blog. Blogging can wait, your life can’t. I blog during downtime, on plane rides, in bed, etc. I make sure I love my life how I want to and make sure that blogging comes second. Make sure you do that as well.

  1. Who is your favorite booktuber? I can honestly say that I didn’t know booktubers were a thing so I don’t have a favorite.

How I started blogging

Advice

The biggest piece of advice I have is to be social. Follow people, like people’s posts, comment on posts, etc. With all of my other blogs I never did that, however, with this blog, I like, comment, and follow so many people’s blogs and have met so many awesome people because of it.

Another thing is to be consistent. If you’re going to post like once a month people really won’t follow you or keep up with you. I’m not saying you have to post daily, but make a schedule and try to stick with it. Yes, there will be times that you won’t be able to maintain it, say during finals or vacations, but definitely try your hardest to stick to a schedule that is pretty frequent.

Hello everyone, I’m currently in Ohio and will be taking a tour of Ohio University soon. I’m super excited to see all of campus. Last night my dad and I drove all over campus so we were able to see a bunch of buildings and sort of figure our way around Athens.

Black Cat Blue Sea Award: Part Dos

Hi everyone, yesterday I was nominated by Lia from Lost in a Story to do the Black Cat Clue Sea Award. I wasn’t going to do it, since I’ve done it and blogmas, but Lia gave me a bonus questions having to deal with my blog title so I figured I would go on and do the award anyway. Let’s get to it.

  1. What are you most passionate about? I don’t really think there is one thing that shines about above the most, so nothing I guess
  2. Have you ever considered stopping blogging? And why? I have taking blogging hiatuses in the past where I thought I’d never blog again, but I miss it. I miss the people, I miss the feedback, I miss writing. With blogging, it gives me an excuse to write, it makes me write, if you will. When I don’t have a blog, I don’t write as much, and that in itself is a reason to not stop blogging.
  3. What is your favourite hobby? Probably writing
  4. Bonus Questions: What does your blog name mean and how do you pronounce it? Okay, so my blog name is Live Pulchritudinously. Pulchritude is just a synonym for beautiful. So my blog name means Live Beautifully. Pulchritudinous is pronounced (pull-cri(like Chris but without the s)-tude-in-ous)

Hi everyone, before I get into this post, I may or may not be doing the final prompt for NaBloPoMo which is: Have you chosen a word of the year for yourself for 2017? What is it? Summer or Winter? Unpopular opinion but honestly… Probably winter
